More vintage

Baby blankets

Vintage doily

I've raided my grandmother's stash of doilies and made one a feature of this table mat. Wouldn't it look good with tea and cake!

Picture this

This is a sparkle picture made from sequins, satin and silk ribbon.

Super wraps

Helen has been busy making flannel wraps for the Field Days. Speaking from experience, they are great because they are really big and they can be tucked in under the cot mattress and they are really good for covering the pram at sleep time.

Cushions galore

I've made a couple of cushions. The main panel fabric is Japanese from a range called Echino.

The back is linen.

Play Mat

This is a play mat for a baby. It is 84cm square and has a 100% cotton top and back and polyester wadding so it can be put straight into the washing machine.

Baby Blanky

This is a little baby "security blanket". It has minky fleece on one side and a pink polka-dot cotton fabric on the other. It is trimmed with ribbon and ric rac. It measures 33cm x 44cm.

Flannel Scarfs

These are a couple of flannel scarfs I've (Sally this is) made. They are using fabric from the Valori Wells' collection called Sole. They are finished with pom pom trim and I think they would fit girls aged about 6 -12.I was able to reluctantly convince two models to wear them for me while I took this photo.
